The following are demos of individual live clips.
Some of the clips have an added kick in the second pass.
This way you can hear them in context.

The first example starts with a dry drumloop and then goes through the "Performers" FX racks that come with the pack and are a bunch of racks where many parameters are controlled by one or a few knobs, ideal and fine-tuned for performing or live situations, but also pretty useful in production.

The second example also starts with a dry synth loop, and then goes straight through several of the "normal" effect racks of the pack, one at a time, and with real-time tweaking. It really shows what you can do to a very standard sound with just 1 effect. Imagine if you start layering them!

FREESTYLE SERIES

The FreeStyle series concept is as follows.
First a freeware synthesizer is chosen based on it's sound and features to be the sound source for the pack. This will serve to prove that you don't need the latest 400$ mega-super-xxl synth to have great sounds at your disposal.
Then a bank of presets is created from scratch for that synth by us, ensuring 100% original and exclusive content.
We then create multisamples at 24bit/44,1khz from those presets and then we enter the sound design process again, in Ableton Live.

It starts by creating the instrument racks (one of the FreeStyle series objectives is to be available to the widest range of Ableton users, so we use Simpler for this), setting key ranges, and creating interesting and powerful macro controls, unique to each rack.
Then we apply effects, tweak levels, write info texts and do everything we can so these racks feel like instruments and not just... sounds.

The effects are the made available in separate effects racks, tweaked, improved, expanded and miixed for creative and effective use on any sound on your tracks.

Finally we create many Live Clips that demonstrate the scope of sounds you can achieve from the pack, and can be used as they are on your productions, but they are also easily edited to suit your needs.

This series will be compatible with Live 7 onwards.

FREESTYLE 3

Contents of the Pack:

After installation, the contents of the pack will be 736,3MB in size.
167 Live Clips, 62 Audio Effect Racks, 32 Instrument Racks, 420 samples.
A manual is included.

This is the third and last pack in the FreeStyle series. It will also be the last GroovePacks product to be compatible with Live 7, our following packs will require and make use of Live 8.
The synthesizer used for the creation of the FreeStyle 3 pack was VS-1 Oscilloscope, by BK Synth Lab. It has some really nice features and a great sound. Check out some of their other offerings, both free & payware because they are all quality.
